Job Description

The Asset Senior Operations Manager oversees the development, execution, and operation of Renewable Gas assets. This position combines technical expertise in asset operations with knowledge of managing complex turnkey projects. The individual in this role is responsible for ensuring that assets function efficiently, comply with regulations, and meet environmental and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Main responsibilities:

  • Development, execution, and operations standards
  • Regulatory and environmental compliance
  • Leadership and coordination
  • Risk assessment and response
  • Plant improvement and lessons learned
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; certifications on PMP/IPMA is a plus
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, operations, construction and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a relevant role, ideally within the renewable energy or Waste-to-Energy sectors
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in asset management systems, maintenance planning, and regulatory compliance tools. Experience with renewable gas or WtE technologies is preferred
  • Leadership Skills and Analytical Abilities: Demonstrated experience managing teams, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in performance data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Language Skills: business fluent in English, German and/or Italian is an advantage
