This is a full-time on-site role for an Analyst at BW ESS in Zurich, Switzerland. The Analyst will be responsible for conducting data analysis, preparing reports and presentations, creating financial models, evaluating project feasibility, and supporting commercial negotiation activities. The Analyst will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including development partners, key suppliers, financial institutions, technical/legal/market advisors, , among others) to analyze project performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for strategic decision-making.

The Analyst's focus will be German projects, but the Analyst will have the opportunity to work across the entire BW ESS footprint.

The ideal candidate will have a background in investment banking and/or consultancy.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Entrepreneurial and can-do mindset
  • Data analysis, financial modelling, and report preparation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in the energy or renewable energy industry
  • Knowledge of project finance and investment analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
