For our client in Basel/Switzerland we are currently looking for a:
LDC Solution Design Manager Lead – Logistics Own Warehouse
with the following details:

General Information:

  • Duration: asap
  • Workload: 100% (90%onsite up to 10% onsite in Basel)

In this role you are working as the team leader for the Logistics Own Warehouse team.

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP EWM consultant with PM skills.

The candidate must be able as well to work on project operational tasks and deliverables as a solution design manager for own warehouse and being responsible for delivering them according to project timelines.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience of SAP implementation projects and deployments of the SAP EWM solution, ideally in a business team lead role.
  • Various years' Experience in implementing own warehouse setups and understanding to translate process requirements into solution and being able to verify if the solution meets the business requirements.
  • Fast Self-learning attitude

  • Experience in integration with Manufacturing execution processes and systems e.g., MES system
  • Team lead experience
  • Committed against timelines within the given time frame in a fast-paced project environment

  • Being able to talk and present to higher management within LDC and outside of LDC, to retrieve guidance and force decisions.

Tasks:

  • Verifying the existing core model for own warehouse based on SAP EWM together with the Global business process owner for Logistics at Novartis and preparing proposal for areas for improvement.
  • Prepare the eWM roadmap for the upcoming releases based on existing core processes and solution
  • Help to develop Logistic process design not based on eWM
  • Taking over project tasks in conceptual design, build, UAT testing & training, cutover & hyper care phase according to need within the team
  • Follow up on cross-functional topics e.g., staging with manufacturing and proposing together a solution design that is aligned with the global process owners.
