Spot / Operational Buyer - SAP SRM/ MM
vacancy for our Zürich based client in the Banking sector.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the procurement department with operational purchasing tasks and supplier coordination
  • Manage purchase orders and approvals within
    SAP SRM
    and
    SAP MM
  • Act as a
    spot buyer
    , handling smaller ad hoc procurement requests
  • Review and interpret
    contract clauses
    to ensure compliance and alignment with internal guidelines
  • Analyse procurement processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support process optimization initiatives

Your experience/skills:

  • Proven experience in
    SAP SRM and SAP MM
    (at least basic to intermediate level)
  • Initial experience as a
    Spot Buyer
    or in an operational purchasing function
  • Basic understanding of
    contract terms and clauses
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to
    quickly grasp and execute process descriptions
  • Fully
    motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on
    approach
  • Languages:
    German - fluent; English - good (spoken and written)
