To strengthen our team , we are looking for a Manufacturing USP Engineer (M/F/X).

ABOUT THE JOB :

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising daily on-site manufacturing operations, interacting with production teams, resolving deviations, and troubleshooting operational issues in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage and oversee daily manufacturing operations on-site while ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to optimize process efficiency and performance.
  • Identify, address, and manage daily deviations in production by diagnosing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Supervise upstream manufacturing processes, including key steps such as cell culture, fermentation, or similar bio-production stages.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production cycles.
  • Implement procedures and tools that enhance operations and reduce disruptions.
  • Provide regular reports on USP system performance and suggest process improvements.
  • Maintain a culture of safety and regulatory compliance, adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

ABOUT YOU:

  • Degree in Biotechnology Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing role within the biotech sector, specifically in Upstream Processes (USP).
  • Proven track record of managing deviations and solving problems in a bio-manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and quality standards in bio-manufacturing.
  • English fluent.
