We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be a key point of contact for IT business partners. As the Head of IT Service across a group of Hospitals, you will shape the future of IT services, optimize processes and determine how the IT infrastructure/applications operate at group level.

You will be a strong people person with the ability to form strong relationships whilst coordinating 8 small teams who are responsible for all IT Services across 20+ sites, housing 1000s of employees and patients.

You MUST understand IT Services and Digital processes in the medical/healthcare industry (medical informatics). You WILL need to demonstrable experience impacting positive IT Services and change across ideally Hospitals or the Healthcare sector.

180k + Bonus

Hybrid – 2 days in Zurich, Country travel to sites

Zurich – with Country travel

German/English Fluency – French is added bonus

Your Mission:

  • Be the primary IT liaison for the business partners, (clinics, hospitals) fostering strong relationships and a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Spearhead the development and optimization of IT services and processes across our clinics.
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders on-site to ensure seamless service delivery, gather valuable feedback, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our IT strategy.
  • Take ownership of the entire customer relationship cycle for IT projects – from initial planning and management to meticulous budgeting and service level management.
  • Lead our PMO function, championing the standardization of processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure efficient and successful IT project implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with IT and hospital management to develop and implement innovative IT solutions that drive sustainable improvements in hospital operations.

What You Bring:

  • A completed degree in Computer Science, Medical Technology, or a related field.
  • Several years of proven experience in a demanding IT environment, with a successful track record of leading teams and projects within the medical or hospital sector.
  • A strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) within a hospital setting is essential.
  • Solid knowledge of IT Service Medical processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and assertiveness skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large (60+ member) and proactive teams, with a strong commitment to teamwork and employee development.
