Business Controlling Manager – Switzerland (m/w/x)

Role Description

As Business Controlling Manager for Switzerland, you will act as a strategic business partner to senior management, providing financial insight, performance analysis, and operational control. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and KPI‑reporting, ensuring that business units meet their targets and adhere to financial discipline. You will monitor costs, support contract compliance, manage internal audit requests, and drive improvements in controlling processes and systems. Your role involves working cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, operations and finance teams to ensure transparency of financial data, support decision‑making, and strengthen governance. You will lead a small team and be responsible for evolving reporting, ensuring consistent processes and high data quality while supporting growth ambitions and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent understanding of controlling principles, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP HANA Finance) and advanced data tools (e.g., Power BI, VBA).
  • Proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications; comfortable handling large data sets and dashboards.
  • Ability to analyse deviations between budget/forecast and actuals, identify root causes and propose actionable recommendations. Adzuna+1

  • Strong organisational and process‑oriented mindset; ability to act as process‑owner for complex tasks and escalate risks appropriately.
