About the Role

We are currently opening a
Senior Radio Network Planning & Optimization Engineer
position to support ongoing and upcoming projects in
Switzerland
. This role is ideal for an experienced RAN professional with strong technical depth in
4G/5G planning and optimization
and exposure to multi-vendor environments.

Location: Switzerland (Projects across Switzerland)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute
    Radio Network Planning & Optimization
    activities for
    4G and 5G RAN
    networks.
  • Perform
    coverage, capacity, and quality optimization
    to meet KPI and performance targets.
  • Analyze network performance, drive optimization strategies, and propose technical improvements.
  • Work across
    multi-vendor environments
    (Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson).
  • Conduct and support
    benchmarking activities
    (e.g. Umlaut, Ookla) and performance comparison studies.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, vendors, and internal technical teams for project delivery.
  • Support Swiss-based projects, including on-site activities when required.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience
    in Radio Network Planning & Optimization.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in
    4G & 5G RAN planning and optimization
    .
  • Proven experience with
    Huawei, Nokia, and/or Ericsson
    networks.
  • Exposure to
    benchmarking projects
    (Umlaut / Ookla is highly preferred).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.
  • Based in Switzerland or EU
    , with availability to work on
    Swiss projects
    .
  • Fluent English (German/French is a plus).
