  • Hands-on technical expertise combined with user-facing support and vendor coordination.
  • Deliver smooth end-user IT support and escalate issues to ensure business continuity.
  • Maintain and monitor infrastructure to reduce downtime and boost productivity.

This role is responsible for delivering IT support and maintaining infrastructure to ensure a smooth and secure digital workplace. Key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Provide first and second-level IT support, managing tickets and resolving user issues.
  • Deploy and maintain user workstations (laptops/desktops) and troubleshoot software problems.
  • Monitor infrastructure (systems, network, backup), escalate incidents, and schedule maintenance.
  • Track and follow up on security incidents in collaboration with the outsourced SOC.
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve hardware/software failures and support Microsoft applications.
  • Assist and train users, document procedures, and collaborate closely with internal teams.

Key success factors

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in IT support, infrastructure maintenance, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments, workstation deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) and incident management processes.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools and escalation procedures.
  • Understanding of network systems, backups, and security incident tracking.
  • Ability to support Microsoft applications (Office365, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Excellent communication skills and a user-focused mindset. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and liaise with external vendors.
  • Proficient in English and Italian; other language(s) knowledge are a plus.
