Bellevue's Healthcare Funds & Mandate's investment team manages funds which invest in companies in the biotech, medical technology, healthcare services, and pharma sector. These companies are leaders in medical innovation and disruptive technologies, have superior management and take advantage of a dynamically changing healthcare system.

What we offer

As an associate, you will work with investment professionals in our Medtech & Services team researching companies and industries with the goal of making investment recommendations to fund managers. The role has a potential path to career opportunities like Equity Research Analyst or Portfolio Manager.

Your qualifications

  • You completed a Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree or are about to complete within the coming months, preferably in business administration, economics, finance or mathematics from a top-tier university with a strong record of academic achievement
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the following fields: equity research on the buy- or sell-side, business development, strategy, consulting or investment banking
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • CFA level 1 and basic levels of programming languages such as Python are a plus
  • Healthcare experience is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong work ethic, desire to learn, curiosity and initiative
  • Fluency in English

Your tasks

  • Support the team with financial- and company analysis
  • Support the lead analyst in stock coverage
  • Analyse industry and market data to describe trends
  • Construction of, accuracy and maintenance of detailed company specific financial models and market models
  • Conduct valuation analysis of stocks and the healthcare sub-sectors
  • Create investment materials including presentations and written research for internal investment discussions
  • Organise and participate in analyst-, management- and expert calls
  • Attend international scientific/investor conferences and capital markets days
