Switzerland Team Overview:

Jefferies' Switzerland IB Group offers a full range of investment banking services to a wide range of companies across many sectors, focusing on M&A. The Swiss IB Group was established in early 2024 and has since expanded in early 2025, allowing bankers the opportunity to be given more responsibility and be creative and entrepreneurial as the Swiss business grows.

We would like to offer you a 3-month internship in the Investment Banking division, based in our Zurich office.

In addition to performing fundamental analysis and research into companies and markets, Interns are challenged to think creatively, offer their input, and make valuable contributions to the team from day one. As with everyone at Jefferies, Interns are expected to pursue their projects with excellence, a collaborative spirit, and with the highest levels of integrity.

Intern responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Performing financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analyses
• Building and using financial models
• Preparing pitchbooks and live deal materials, such as management presentations and information memorandum
• Conducting industry and product research
• Analyzing detailed corporate and financial information
• Participating in the execution of M&A, equity capital markets and equity-linked transactions

Requirements:

• Successful candidates must show an ability to work as part of a global team, with a self-starting approach to problem solving, quantitative skills, accuracy, flexibility, reliability, dedication, and enthusiasm
• Excellent academic credentials and professional drive
• Previous investment banking / corporate finance experience is an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a passion for excellence
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in Swiss German is an advantage
• Both attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger picture
