The BKW Group is an international energy and infrastructure company based in Switzerland. BKW Wind Services generates around 1 TWh of electricity annually with its own plants in Italy, Germany, France and Norway. BKW is currently pursuing a strategy to become a European market leader in the field of renewable energies.

Your role

  • You will be assisted by a mentor and after a short period you will actively participate in the European intraday markets, helping to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Step by step you will practise how to optimize the company's renewable asset portfolio and execute trading strategies based on market opportunities and data-driven insights
  • After the successful completion of your training program, you are responsible for the trading results in multiple countries during your shift
  • Contribution to projects and special assignments that drive innovation and efficiency in trading processes
  • You ensure full compliance with BKW's trading and conduct guidelines at all times

Your skills

  • You hold a degree in economics, engineering, energy management or a similar field
  • Sound analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong experience in coding languages such as Python.
  • You are motivated by achieving ambitious goals and working in a high-performance environment
  • Experience in trading or in energy markets is an advantage
  • Willingness to participate in the team's 24/7 trading shift scheme
  • Excellent communication in English; German or French are a plus
