Our client, a leading international financial institution, is seeking an DevOps Programmer to join its office. With strong hands-on experience across Python, Azure, Databricks, and modern DevOps practices. You will work at the intersection of technology and commodities trading, supporting high-performance data workflows, automation, and cloud-native solutions used by traders, analysts, and risk teams.

Duties Include:

  • Develop and maintain Python-based tools, scripts, and services supporting the commodities trading lifecycle.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure, Databricks, and modern tooling.
  • Collaborate with trading, risk, and analytics teams to translate business needs into reliable, automated solutions.
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud applications using Azure DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, and containerized environments.
  • Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability through DevOps best practices.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across analytics and trading systems.
  • Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and rapid issue resolution.

The preferred candidate should possess experience in writing clean, efficient production-level Python code and strong knowledge of
DevOps practices
(e.g., Git, Agile methodology) with additional knowledge in MLOps, model architecture design, and testing patterns) excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact at all levels of business efficiently.
