Why this role is important to AvalloneAs we expand our commercial presence across Europe and the US, we are hiring a Senior Enterprise Sales Manager to drive Avallone's expansion across key markets - closing high-impact deals by engaging with large, complex corporates and organisations on compliance and financial crime prevention.
This role focuses on acquiring new prospects, creating/qualifying opportunities, leading end-to-end enterprise sales cycles through to contract signature and shaping the commercial engine that supports Avallone's next stage of growth. You will engage with senior stakeholders across finance, legal, compliance, treasury and operational teams to understand their challenges and translate them into high-value solutions. Success in this role requires both strategic influence and hands-on selling: defining outreach strategies, creating qualification structures, developing proposals / RFP responses, managing complex stakeholder environments and securing signatures for long-term revenue deals.
The role is based in Zurich, Switzerland. Our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is based in Zurich, and Avallone is establishing a physical presence in Switzerland in the coming months, so this role is for someone already located in the Zürich area - or based in the broader region who will commute to the office regularly.
What you will be responsible for● Explore target markets, identify high-value segments and design/execute on outreach strategies that generate qualified enterprise opportunities across outbound, inbound and partner channels.
● Lead the full enterprise sales cycle from discovery to contract signature, including product demonstrations, value articulation, solution scoping, commercial proposals/documentation, negotiation and closing.
● Maintain a disciplined pipeline with accurate forecasting, strong follow-up and well-kept records in HubSpot and related tools.
● Build and own a personal sales funnel, drive consistent prospecting activity including cold outreach and ensure a steady flow of opportunities.
● Develop scalable sales playbooks, qualification frameworks and repeatable processes with the CRO that support strategic expansion initiatives across Europe and the US.
● Provide structured market insights, customer feedback and competitive observations to inform Product, Customer Success and cross-functional teams.
● Represent Avallone at industry events, conferences and market engagements, with travel expected for approximately 15 to 35 days per year (domestic within EU and international).
What we value● +5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a strong record of closing enterprise deals
● Demonstrated "hunter" mindset with the ability to capture and scale high-value portfolios
● Proven success managing complex sales cycles with multiple senior stakeholders
● Ability to translate discovery insights into clear commercial and value propositions
● Strong pipeline discipline - with process-driven approach, reliable forecasting and structured, repeatable, scalable sales motions
● Proficient in enterprise sales software (HubSpot) for RevOps workflows
● Independent, proactive and effective in a fast-moving startup environment
● Fluent in spoken and written English and confident presenting online and in person
● Located in the Zurich area, or able to regularly commute to the area
Bonus points● Experience selling into CFO offices, treasury teams or adjacent financial workflow environments
● Background in compliance, risk, data or workflow-heavy SaaS
● Familiarity with KYC, AML or broader financial crime topics
● Experience designing, executing and/or scaling effective outreach / outbound strategies
● Prior success in growth-stage, scale-up SaaS environments
● Fluency in additional European languages, particularly German
● Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration with Customer Success, Product, Legal and Marketing
