About the role
School of Tomorrow seeks an expert to design and lead a school-wide enrichment model for all students, with particular expertise supporting twice-exceptional (2e) learners. You'll embed curiosity, higher-order thinking, and authentic problem-solving into everyday teaching, ensuring every learner—those needing more challenge and those whose strengths are currently masked—has meaningful opportunities to thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Design & implement enrichment-in-the-curriculum: Build a practical infusion framework (not a stand-alone programme) and co-plan/co-teach to make it live in classrooms, e.g., enrichment clusters, curriculum compacting, SEM-R, and cross-curricular opportunities.
- Student advocacy & tailored pathways: Surface hidden strengths; support 2e learners via balanced challenge and accommodations; mentor small groups and guide independent investigations (Type I/II/III).
- Teacher learning & coaching: Lead PD, model lessons (scheduled and responsive), provide one-to-one coaching, and curate practical tools teachers can adopt at pace; spend significant time in classrooms to observe and support practice in real time.
- Parents & community: Host parent evenings/workshops, answer individual questions, and communicate our philosophy and approach to enrichment and 2e. Bring in external experts/mentors (researchers, artists, entrepreneurs, technologists) and build partnerships to expand authentic learning experiences.
- Documentation & impact: Produce clear guidance, unit blueprints, and reports; track engagement, teacher uptake, and student growth to inform continuous improvement.
What you bring
- Advanced degree in Gifted Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Psychology, or related field (SEM background is essential).
- Substantial experience leading enrichment programs integrated into the regular curriculum (ideally across a whole school or network).
- Proven expertise with 2e learners and strengths-based planning that addresses cognitive and social-emotional needs.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality curriculum/programme documentation and to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and families.
- Core competencies: Inclusive enrichment mindset for all learners; relationship-first approach; sharp instructional design; and the ability to pilot, evaluate, and scale innovation.
