JOB DESCRIPTION –PLANNER (Primavera P6) – CAPITAL PROJECTSDuration:12 MonthsStart Date:January 2026Location:Stein, Switzerland (Onsite)IR35 Determination:Outside IR35Right to Work:Swiss-based candidates onlyRole OverviewWe are expanding our global facilities and seeking an experiencedProject Planner / Scheduler (Primavera P6)to supportSGIE Capital Projectsacross its pharmaceutical and biotech infrastructure. This role is responsible for developing and maintainingintegrated project schedules, ensuring schedule integrity across EPCM partners, contractors, and internal project teams. The Planner will oversee planning activities throughout all project phases, ensuring accurate reporting and timely project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules across full project scope for efficient execution.Ensure schedule alignment and integration across EPCM partners, contractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders .Prepare baseline schedules , schedule basis documentation, and phase planning deliverables for approval.Conduct critical path analysis and report schedule impacts, risks, and variances to project leadership.Monitor schedule deviations and support development of corrective actions and mitigation strategies .Produce and deliver schedule progress reports, forecast charts, trend analysis, and milestone tracking .Maintain accurate records of scope changes, trends, and variances affecting schedule performance.Facilitate project planning sessions, scheduling meetings, and interactive planning workshops .Ensure accurate resource loading and alignment across all workstreams.Validate accuracy and consistency of all schedule data.Perform additional project controls and planning tasks as required.Essential QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management , or related field.5–10 years' experience in planning/scheduling large-scale capital projects (pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or regulated industries).Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).Skilled with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint .Fluent in English (business level).Essential RequirementsDemonstrated experience building and maintaining large, integrated project schedules .Strong capability in identifying critical path, slippages, schedule impacts .Ability to prepare schedule reports, variance analysis, and progress updates .Experience coordinating schedules across EPCM firms, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams .High analytical capability, especially handling large and complex data sets .Ability to work independently in fast-paced, changing project environments .Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred / Desirable RequirementsGerman language skills (business fluent).Experience supporting large-scale projects >200M CHF .Familiarity with cost control , earned value, or broader project controls software.Experience mentoring or supervising junior planners .Industry FocusPharmaceuticals | Biotech | Life Sciences | Engineering | Capital Projects | Project ControlsTarget Companies / BackgroundsCandidates from or experienced with:Novartis, Roche, CSL Behring, Siegfried, Moderna, Takeda, Bayer (Swiss Ops), Boehringer Ingelheim, Lonza, Thermo Fisher, Catalent, and EPCM firms such asJacobs, NNE, PM Group, IPS, DPS, Pharmaplan, etc.Ideal Candidate Profile – Who We WantA hands-on Senior Planner / Project Scheduler with strong P6 capability.Confident managing complex, multi-discipline schedules in large capital projects.Strong communicator able to challenge assumptions and ensure schedule accuracy.Comfortable managing fast-paced, constantly evolving environments .Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured in planning and reporting.Who We Do NOT WantJunior planners or candidates with insufficient experience.Professionals lacking Primavera P6 proficiency.Candidates from unrelated industries without regulated project exposure.Individuals who struggle with ambiguity or shifting priorities.Schedulers who have never handled large, integrated project schedules .
