The Director of Strategy & Operations serves as a strategic thought partner and execution leader to SIR Head of Strategy, Portfolio & Commercial Growth and ultimately to the SIR President. This role will drive business reviews, performance reporting, and executive presentations while leading strategic and cross-functional projects.

Major accountabilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

1.Strategic Planning & Business Reviews

• Lead the preparation, coordination, and delivery of regional Business Reviews, Performance Updates, and Annual Strategic Planning cycles.

• Develop strategic recommendations and decision support materials for senior leadership, including the SLT and CEO-level reviews.

2. Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects

• Lead and coordinate special projects and strategic initiatives across the International Region

• Drive structured problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration to enable effective decision-making

• Act as a project lead for key transformation initiatives when required

3. Operational Excellence & Governance

• Ensure alignment between strategy, execution, and performance tracking

• Partner with Corporate Strategy, CCO, Country Heads and Functional Heads

Minimum Requirements:
What you'll bring to the role:

• University degree in a scientific or business field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) is preferred

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

• 10 years of experience preferably within pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare

• Strong experience in Top Tier management consulting

• Proven track record in executive-level communication, business planning, and cross-functional project leadership

• Strong analytical, financial, strategic thinking, and storytelling skills

• Excellent command of PowerPoint, Excel, and ideally data visualization tools

• Experience working in a matrix, multicultural environment across regions
