Senior Structured Power Trader

Are you a dynamic power trader who thrives on complexity and opportunity?
We are looking for a Senior Structured Power Trader with deep expertise in European power markets and a proven ability to unlock value from complex deals Your field
  • You act as an origination sparring partner, supporting the structuring, pricing, and execution of innovative deals such as PPAs, BESS, and VPPs.
  • You trade and actively manage structured positions along the power curve, capturing value through country and time spreads.
  • You generate significant incremental earnings through disciplined, strategic position management.
  • You collaborate closely with Quants, Market Risk, and Credit Risk teams to navigate the approval and implementation of nonstandard transactions.
Your strengths
  • 5–10 years of experience in Power Trading, focused on structured, asset-backed, and optionality-driven deals.
  • Deep knowledge of the CWE power markets and the renewables business.
  • A proven commercial track record of delivering results in a fast-moving environment.
  • A commercially astute, entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take ownership and drive innovation.
  • Programming or quantitative skills (e.g. Python, VBA) are an advantage.
