Facing the challenges of our timeHelp us grow and be more impactfulTheEmerging Micro & Nano-TechnologiesGroup is part of our Micro & Nano Systems Business Unit is based in Neuchâtel.Your MissionYou will contribute to multidisciplinary industrial and research projects, develop innovative solutions and participate in the R&D efforts in the field of quantum technologies and photonics.You will oversee putting in place and maintain robust protocols to ensure the quality of CSEM PIC platform. This will include following up of PIC fabrication and characterization activities.You will propose and develop selected technologies, such as superconducting circuits and QPICs for quantum communication, computation and sensing applications.Your ResponsibilitiesManage public or low complexity industrial projects and contribute to various projects (management of specific work packages, technical execution, offer writing, etc).Be involved in multidisciplinary activities related to quantum and photonic technologies.Contribute to projects acquisition.Maintain and develop good relationships with our partners and participate in customers meetings.Proactively propose innovative solutions to enhance operations in the activity and solve complex problems.Continuously keep aware of the state of the art.Maintain and develop internal and external professional network.Your ProfileKnow-howMaster's degree or PHD with >10 years of experience in the field of integrated optics, photonics, ideally with a proven track record in the field of quantum technologies such as circuit quantum electrodynamics, quantum photonics or quantum sensing.Interpersonal SkillsOut of the box thinking and innovativeAutonomousGood team playerAbility to collaborate with various internal partners across the organizationGood communication skillsCustomer and results-orientedNatural curiosity and ability/interest to deal with multidisciplinary activitiesAnalytical skills and critical thinkingFluency in English with knowledge of FrenchCSEM mission and valuesOur mission is the development and transfer of innovative technologies to the Swiss industry.
