Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst
to support the implementation of a new
CTRM system
within a global
agri-commodity trading environment
. This position focuses on
Finance and Risk
, ensuring business processes, data governance, and functional requirements are accurately defined and aligned with project objectives.

You will serve as a bridge between
business process owners
,
technology teams
, and
project managers
, delivering clear documentation, functional design, and testing across CTRM and related Finance domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and the project team to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Map and optimize business processes and data flows; identify gaps and propose pragmatic improvements.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, gap analyses, data dictionaries, and specifications for data products.
  • Support project planning, monitoring, and delivery in collaboration with Program and Project Managers.
  • Define and execute test cases, validate UAT, and ensure full traceability of requirements.
  • Contribute to data migration and test automation workstreams.
  • Implement and maintain
    data governance frameworks
    , ensuring accuracy and integrity of Finance and Risk data.
  • Provide end-user training and continuous process support.
  • Communicate effectively with global and cross-functional teams, challenging existing processes and co-building scalable solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve complex business cases as needed.

Ideal Profile

  • Minimum
    10 years of experience
    as
    Operations, Middle Office, or Business Analyst
    in the
    agri-commodity trading industry
    (coffee or cocoa preferred).
  • Proven successful experience as
    Business Analyst
    on a
    CTRM implementation
    in a soft-commodity company.
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Business Information Systems
    ,
    Information Technology
    ,
    Business Administration
    ,
    Finance
    , or
    Commodity Risk Management
    .
  • CBAP
    and/or
    PMP certification
    is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Jira, Confluence, Teams, SharePoint
    , and process tools such as
    Visio
    or
    Signavio
    .
  • Ability to manage multi-time-zone stakeholders and lead remote teams.
  • Fluent in
    English
    (mandatory);
    French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Vietnamese
    are strong assets.

Key Indicators of Success

  • Delivery of validated Statements of Work and successful UAT sign-offs.
  • Clear, complete, and accurate documentation of processes and requirements.
  • Positive stakeholder satisfaction and consistent project outcomes.
  • Application of best-practice Business Analysis standards supporting CTRM deployment.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel to deployment sites (approximately 4 trips per year, up to 2 weeks each).
