Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop software within the Simulacrum agile team for instrument simulations.
  • Design, implement, deploy, and maintain the hardware simulation ecosystem.
  • Continuously improve the software stack and toolchain.
  • Collaborate closely with internal software development teams.

Must-Have Skills

  • University degree in Software Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++17 or higher).
  • Comfortable with GNU/Linux command line.
  • Experience with Git and collaboration tools (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
  • Linux experience (Debian packaging, basic system administration).
  • Container virtualisation (Docker, etc.).
  • Shell scripting.
  • Modern Python (CLI tools, web backends).
  • Agile mindset.
  • English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • CI experience (GitLab-CI).
  • Web Frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Modern JS frameworks (Angular preferred).
  • Software design patterns, principles, and OOD.
  • End-to-end project experience.
  • Multi-process and multi-threaded development.
  • Rust knowledge.
