System Architect – Zurich | Permanent Role | Banking client

Role Overview

As a
System Architect
, you'll drive end-to-end
application and integration architecture
, ensuring technical alignment across business domains. You will collaborate closely with enterprise architects, product owners, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain solution architectures using
    Java and Oracle technologies
    .
  • Define subsystem interfaces, blueprints, and architectural runways.
  • Ensure compliance with
    enterprise architecture standards
    and manage architecture debt.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the
    technical vision and roadmap
    .
  • Support definition and implementation of
    Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs)
    .
  • Integrate supplier-delivered solutions into the enterprise landscape.

Key Skills & Experience

10+ years in
Java / J2EE and Oracle-based architecture

Strong knowledge of
Integration Architecture patterns
and
Application Design

Familiarity with
Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD
methodologies

Experience in
Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA)
preferred

Excellent collaboration, documentation, and quality management mindset

Location & Work Mode

Zurich, Switzerland

Hybrid model
– 3 days from office, 2 days remote

Languages:
English (mandatory), German (advantageous)

Salary:
Up to CHF 140,000 per annum

  • Domicile in Switzerland is mandatory (must already reside or be ready to relocate).

    open B permit
