For a prestigious company based in Geneva, we are seeking a General Ledger Accountant (f/m/x) (6 months contract) to join their dynamic team and to contribute to their financial operations.

Mission

  • Assist the finance team in accounting analysis, reconstruction of balances, reclassification of accounting data.
  • Assist the Finance team in review accounting data and correct in a comprehensive view
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Conduct data analysis and crunching using Excel, Access, and other tools to extract meaningful insights
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement remediation plans
  • Work independently to deep-dive into accounting topics and provide accurate and timely information
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments and contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.

Candidate profile

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounting and Audit (big 4) is a MUST.
  • Expert in data crunching (Excel, Access, etc)
  • Capability to deep-dive in topics and ability to work independently
  • Ability to synthetize complex issue and define remediation plan
  • Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage.
  • Team player, collaborative spirit, curious and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to work with a wide spectrum of people
  • Dedicated ad problem-solving skills
