GL Accountant

We are looking for a
GL Accountant (H/F/X)
, for our client, an
industrial
company in
Geneva
, to join its
international finance team
for a permanent role:

Mission

• You manage the full general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings under IFRS standards.
• You participate in the preparation of financial statements and collaborate with external auditors during audit processes.
• You support the implementation and optimization of accounting processes and internal controls across entities.
• You contribute to the analysis and reconciliation of accounts, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
• You work closely with various departments including controlling, tax, and treasury to ensure financial data consistency.
• You ensure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS, staying current with evolving accounting standards.

Profile

• You hold a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with solid experience in general ledger activities.
• You are familiar with IFRS and have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• You are fluent in both
  French and English
  , with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You are detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing deadlines in a dynamic international environment.
• You have experience working with ERP systems and are confident navigating large volumes of financial data.
• You enjoy working cross-functionally and thrive in a structured, process-driven finance team.
