About Corintis
Corintis is a provider of advanced semiconductor cooling technologies. Some of the biggest challenges of our lifetime, from climate modeling to drug discovery, require ever increasing computing resources. As more specialized and powerful chips are being deployed in data centers all over the world, the efficient cooling of these large computing clusters has become a major economic and environmental concern.

In fact, the electricity consumption devoted to data center cooling in the near future is estimated to exceed the combined consumption of London and New York. Moreover, next-generation chip designs are expected to be limited by current cooling technologies.

Job Description
We are looking for a motivated thermal mechanical engineer to join Corintis as an intern, to design the cooling solutions of the future.

This is a hands-on role supporting the development, prototyping, and validation of advanced cooling solutions that deliver breakthrough performance.

Helpful Skills & Experience

  • Hands on experience in various projects from initial design to prototyping.
  • Solid background in heat transfer: able to make quick judgments, analytical calculations and propose solutions.
  • Get-things-done mentality.
  • Skilled in the usage of CAD tools (ideally Solidworks).
  • Ability to "think outside of the box" and freely discuss creative solutions.
  • Proactive working style with excellent organizational skills and work ethic.
  • Communicating effectively, excellent relational skills, and being able to work in a team with different professional and cultural backgrounds.
  • Good working autonomy. Take initiative and own your decisions with confidence and responsibility.
  • Experienced in designing and setting up experimental test benches, data acquisition systems, controls, and sensing is a plus.
  • Hands on experience designing and building cooling/thermal management systems is a plus
  • Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) is a plus.
  • Full Professional proficiency in English.

  • Salary: 2,500 CHF gross per month
