Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytically-minded
Junior IT Logistic Manager
to join our team in Zurich. This key role is central to ensuring the
efficiency and compliance
of our logistics processes (warehousing, distribution, transport). You will act as the interface between IT and Logistics, driving the
continuous optimization
of complex supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Coordination:
    Aligning logistics operations (transport, warehousing, distribution) with internal departments and external partners.
  • Analysis & Optimization:
    Identifying process bottlenecks and developing/implementing innovative IT-based solutions for optimization.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    Ensuring accurate data recording across all systems and guaranteeing adherence to all legal and regulatory logistics requirements (e.g., customs, safety).
  • Reporting:
    Monitoring
    KPIs
    (e.g., on-time delivery, freight costs) and preparing performance reports.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Effective communication with internal teams and external service providers to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Initial professional experience (1-3 years) or relevant internships in IT process consulting, logistics, or supply chain management is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with standard ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and a basic understanding of logistics/warehousing modules is preferred.
  • A structured working style with the ability to translate business needs into functional IT requirements.

Language Skills

Fluency is mandatory in:

  • German
  • English

Knowledge of the following is a strong advantage:

  • Spanish
