Our client is seeking an experienced and highly driven
Senior Grains Trader
specializing in wheat and/or corn. This is a senior commercial role requiring a
proven track record in international grains trading
, particularly from the Black Sea region, alongside strong market knowledge and the ability to deliver profitable results. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to capture market opportunities, expand commercial relationships, and contribute directly to the company's
global grains trading strategy
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of trading decisions with
    P&L responsibility
    .
  • Analyse international market trends, identifying opportunities and risks in wheat and corn.
  • Execute and manage
    cash positions and hedging strategies
    .
  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key customers, suppliers, and trading partners.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (logistics, risk, operations) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience
    as an international grains trader with sourcing Black Sea grains.
  • Demonstrated track record of
    profitable P&L performance

  • In-depth knowledge of
    global supply & demand dynamics
    in agricultural commodities.
  • Strong, established
    network of industry contacts
    across the Black Sea and destination markets.
