Consultant Senior SAP MDG

Job Description We are seeking a Senior SAP MDG Consultant to lead the Data Governance stream of a high -stakes SAP S/4HANA migration program in a precision manufacturing environment. The consultant will facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, design MDG data models, configure system components (Data Model, BRF+, Fiori, Workflows), integrate MDG with ECC/S4, and implement enterprise -wide data governance rules. The role also includes defining and executing data migration strategy, overseeing data cleansing and mapping, and mentoring a junior consultant. Strong documentation, training, and cross -functional coordination capabilities are essential. The working language is French, with professional proficiency in English required. Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate workshops with business stakeholders, define data governance strategy, configure SAP MDG, integrate with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, mentor the junior consultant, lead data migration, write functional specifications, prepare test plans and deliver user trainingRequirementsThe ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of hands -on experience in SAP projects, including at least 4 years specifically dedicated to SAP MDG. Proven expertise in configuring SAP MDG modules is required, including Data Model customization, User Interface modelling, BRF+ rule configuration, Workflow setup, and Fiori -based applications. The candidate should have strong experience with master data objects such as Business Partners, Customers, Vendors, and Materials. A solid background in SAP S/4HANA and integration between MDG and ECC or S/4HANA is mandatory. Familiarity with DRF (Data Replication Framework), data validation rules, and central governance processes is expected. The consultant must be able to lead data governance strategy workshops with business stakeholders, define governance frameworks, and design end -to -end master data processes. Experience with data cleansing and migration planning is highly valued, as well as knowledge of data quality KPIs and related tooling. The role requires excellent documentation skills, the ability to produce training materials, and to support UAT and hypercare phases. Fluency in French is mandatory, and English must be at a professional level, as project teams are international. Candidates should be autonomous, structured, and capable of managing deliverables independently while collaborating effectively across business and IT teams. A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is required. SAP MDG certification is strongly preferred. Prior experience working in highly regulated or high -precision industries such as manufacturing, luxury goods, or pharmaceuticals is an advantage.
