Your role

Are you an experienced professional in technology risk management? Do you have experience building technology control environments? Do you have an in-depth understanding of DLT and Digital Assets (DA) technology? We are looking for someone like that to join out Digital Asset CoE team in Group Emerging Technologies to:

• develop and maintain control frameworks DLT and DA in UBS, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, requirements and best practices

• continuously evaluate new and emerging risks impacting UBS's Digital Assets and DLT platform

• bring tangible DLT innovation into UBS, while ensuring secure development of its DLT platform and related control framework

• support development of our DA Strategic priorities, incl., tokenization, custody, in a risk managed manner

• work closely with stakeholders across technology risk management, compliance, and business units

• support in regulatory and supervisory dialogue and reporting on DLT and DA

Your team

You'll be working in the Digital Assets Center of Excellence in Zurich, reporting to the Risk and Regulatory Management Lead. Our aim is to develop and implement group-wide UBS Digital Assets and Distributed Ledger Technology strategy, standards and control framework, in collaboration with divisions and functions.

Your expertise

• proven experience in technology risk management in the financial services industry, including, identification, assessment and remediation of risks and issues, development and implementation of standards

• In-depth expertise in DLT / DA, e.g., key management, smart contract and tokenization lifecycle, cryptographic principles, security audits, as well as related security capabilities and tooling

• knowledge of public and private blockchains, as well as related regulatory frameworks

• university degree in computer science, information technology is desirable

• clear and confident communicator, across various levels of an organization and external stakeholders

• strong problem-solving and robust analytical skills
