Role Overview

This role involves internal and external representation, including customer meetings, audits, visits, and inspections for assigned projects. The ideal candidate will serve as a
Scientific Subject Matter Expert (SME)
for project-specific and other microbial analyses, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely execution of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent QC Microbiology internally and externally during audits, inspections, and customer interactions for assigned projects.
  • Act as the scientific SME for project-specific microbial analyses, including monitoring, evaluating, and coordinating implementation of improvements.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely completion of work packages assigned to specific business units (BUs).
  • Facilitate effective communication within interdisciplinary teams (e.g., studies, validation/verification, deviations, and transfers).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within QC Microbiology.

Requirements

  • Minimum
    2 years of experience
    in QC Microbiology or related field.
  • Strong understanding of microbial analysis and quality control processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work primarily on-site (Visp); remote work limited to max. 2 days/week.
  • German language proficiency
    preferred; English required.
