Geneva-based and serving an international clientele, our client—a multi-family office—is hiring a Portfolio Manager / Investment Advisor (Multi-Asset).

Key Responsabilities :

  • Daily portfolio management & execution
    : run and implement targeted strategies across equities, fixed income, structured products, derivatives, private equity, hedge funds ect.; handle proactive monitoring, rebalancing and tactical allocation adjustments.
  • Research & manager selection
    : analyze financial statements, portfolio analytics, and assess performance and risk of external managers/funds and instruments; contribute to due-diligence memos and investment committee notes.
  • Macro & micro market surveillance:
    maintain an active watch on central banks, inflation, yield curves, volatility,factor regimes, and translate insights into actionable investment views.
  • Tools & decision support:
    build and maintain pricers, valuation models, back-tests, scenario analyses, and stress tests; improve reporting quality and portfolio diagnostics.
  • Governance, risk & compliance:
    run weekly instrument/portfolio reviews, enforce mandate limits, concentration thresholds, suitability/appropriateness, and ensure adherence to FINMA and LSFin/LEFin requirements; coordinate corrective actions where needed.
  • Client engagement:
    prepare and deliver clear portfolio reviews and investment rationales in client meetings.
  • Idea generation:
    be consistently idea-driven—bring well-researched, original investment ideas, challenge consensus thoughtfully, and demonstrate a genuine passion for financial markets.

Your Profile :

  • Degree in Finance/Economics/Business (Bachelor/Master/MBA). CFA/CAIA/SAQ CWMA is a strong plus.
  • 5–10 years in discretionary PM and/or advisory (private banking, EAM/MFO, or boutique AM), with solid multi-asset construction skills.
  • Exposure/interest in private equity (co-investments or fund selection) is an advantage.
  • Strong client-facing communication; ability to explain complex ideas with clarity.
  • Robust understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk (drawdown, concentration, liquidity).
  • Fluent English & French; German is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint; mandatory Bloomberg (or equivalent) and VBA; programming skills (Python/R/Matlab) are an advantage.
  • Team-oriented, hands-on, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in a lean environment.
