About the Role:

As a Senior Gas Originator you would work in close cooperation with Sirius' Gas Team, structuring transactions with counterparties and asset operators to expand the company's businesses. You will play a crucial role in originating new businesses in different European Gas markets, with a specific focus on Germany.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in commercial or trading roles within the gas market, such as Originator, Business Developer, Portfolio Manager, or Gas Trader, and demonstrate a proven ability to navigate complex market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure transactions with counterparties and asset operators across the German and broader European gas markets;
  • Participate in tender processes within the European gas market (special focus on Germany);
  • Collaborate closely with trading teams to support portfolio optimization and strategic expansion;
  • Deliver timely and insightful market analysis to inform business decisions;
  • Staying update with important regulatory changes, understanding potential impacts on the businesses.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in gas portfolio management, with focus on German assets;
  • In-depth knowledge of the European gas markets, and understanding of the physical gas infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks;
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to details;
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach;
