Marqea is building the world's first AI-CMO engine

giving every business a marketing team at their fingertips. As we scale our AI platform, we're looking for a technology leader who can own and drive all technical aspects of the company, from hands-on AI development to long-term product vision

Tasks

  • AI Developer: You'll be the lead engineer building and refining our AI-driven marketing engine, working with cutting-edge LLMs, automation frameworks, and data systems.

  • CTO: You'll set the technology vision, own the architecture, recruit and mentor engineers, and work closely with the founders on strategy, fundraising, and scaling.

This role is for someone who is
excited to code
but also ready to
lead a company's technical future.

Requirements

Strong background in
AI/ML engineering
(LLMs, NLP, automation, API integrations).

  • Hands-on coding ability (Python, , cloud platforms, vector databases, etc.).

  • Previous
    leadership or senior engineering
    experience (CTO, Lead Engineer, or comparable).

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: comfort in a
    startup environment
    where speed, adaptability, and creativity matter.

  • Ability to balance
    short-term builds
    with
    long-term vision
    .

Nice to Have

Experience scaling SaaS or AI startups.

  • Knowledge of martech/marketing automation tools.

  • Familiarity with fundraising and investor interactions.
