Interim (Senior) Accountant (9 Months)

For an international company based in Central Switzerland, we are looking for an Interim (Senior) Accountant (9 Months) to strengthen the accounting team. This role is ideal for an autonomous accountant who is hands-on in monthly closings and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You will join an established finance team and contribute immediately to ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, particularly during month-end closings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for monthly closings
  • Preparation of financial statements under Swiss GAAP
  • Balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
  • Support the accounting team during a period of increased workload
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and deadlines
  • Collaboration with controlling / FP&A and other finance stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Completed education in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Around 5 years of professional experience in accounting
  • Proven hands-on experience with
    MS Dynamics 365 (essential requirement)
  • Solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP
  • Used to working autonomously and taking ownership of month-end closings
  • Comfortable in a dynamic environment with high workload peaks
  • English required, German an advantage
  • Immediately available or available to start by March/April at the latest
