ABOUT ONESCOPE

Onescope is a Swiss MedTech company bringing objective respiratory assessment directly to the point of care.

Our flagship device — the Pneumoscope — is a 3-in-1 connected stethoscope paired with a mobile app and AI capabilities.

We are finalizing CE certification and preparing for commercialization across Europe and the US. Hardware is frozen, industrialization partners are in place, and our next phase focuses on software excellence, regulatory execution, and market launch.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are hiring a CTO to lead the product and technical strategy as Onescope enters commercialization. Your mission will be to own the product roadmap, manage our external development and industrialization partners, and progressively build the internal product and engineering team. You will ensure that our device, app, and AI modules meet clinical expectations, regulatory requirements, and commercial needs.

This role is ideal for someone who has successfully brought a MedTech product to market and can operate across product, engineering oversight, regulatory pathways, and deployment readiness.

The position is hybrid, based in Geneva, and open to part-time onboarding (60–80%) before transitioning to full-time as the company scales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap (Hardware + Software).
  • Turn clinical/user needs into clear product requirements.
  • Lead UX/UI improvements and ensure clinical-grade usability.
  • Prioritize features based on safety, regulatory timelines, and commercial strategy.
  • Manage external software and hardware partners and progressively build the internal engineering & product team.

Regulatory Leadership

  • Lead CE IIa (device + app) and CE IIb (AI) execution.
  • Ensure MDR-compliant documentation, testing, cybersecurity, and risk management.
  • Anticipate regulatory implications of product changes.
  • Work closely with QA/RA partners; FDA experience is a plus.

Industrialization & Deployment

  • Oversee industrialization partners and ensure readiness for manufacturing scale-up.
  • Support hospital and home-care deployments (integration, connectivity, interoperability).
  • Contribute to pilot studies, clinical evaluations, and early adopter engagements.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with CEO and COO on product and go-to-market strategy.
  • Engage with clinical and B2B partners to translate workflows into product features.
  • Support investor discussions and product-related due diligence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Product & Engineering Leadership

  • Proven experience owning a product roadmap in MedTech or Digital Health.
  • Ability to manage external technical partners and lead internal teams.
  • Strong understanding of clinical UX/UI, healthcare workflows, reliability, and cybersecurity.

Regulatory Experience

  • Practical experience with CE marking (Class IIa or IIb).
  • Strong understanding of MDR requirements, risk management, and technical documentation.
  • FDA familiarity (510(k), pre-subs) is a plus.

Commercialization & MedTech Deployment

  • Experience bringing a regulated product to market (EU or US).
  • Familiarity with industrialization, manufacturing partners, and clinical deployment environments.
  • Ability to interface well with clinicians, engineers, and commercial teams.

Soft Skills

  • Clear communicator, structured thinker, hands-on and pragmatic.
  • Comfortable in early-stage, fast-moving environments.
  • Fluent in French and English.
