KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement of robust data pipelines for data marts and reporting infrastructures
  • Develop and integrate new libraries in the Azure Data Mesh architecture
  • Manage Azure Git repositories for effective version control and team collaboration
  • Develop ETL jobs and orchestrate job scheduling using Databricks
  • Migrate BW reports and use cases to PySpark and Databricks, optimizing data processes
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards
  • Maintain and develop CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
  • Maintain and performance-optimize existing processes
  • Transform complex custom logic into algorithms, preferably in Python or Pyspark
  • Create PowerBI reports using DAX and visualization
  • Build and maintain PowerBI data sources, data models and scheduled refreshes
  • Apply knowledge of statistical methods on tabular data and time series to gain new perspectives and insights
  • Explore and develop novel Machine Learning solutions to tackle challenges of traditional approaches
  • Feature engineering of temporal and non-temporal features incorporating multiple proprietary and external sources, leveraging domain knowledge
  • Evaluate and maintain developed Machine Learning models
  • Collaborate with technical teams and project stakeholders
    Act as first point of contact and first-level support for technical question within the team

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

  • Degree or work experience in a technical domain like Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or similar with experience in programming
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to translate business needs into requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with MS Azure Data Factory, MS Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks is preferred
  • Understanding of mathematical and statistical backgrounds in common Machine Learning models is expected
    You have very good written and spoken English skills, German/French are a plus
