EF is currently seeking a knowledgeable Accounting Manager to join our team in Zurich. As an Accounting Manager, you will lead and motivate accounting staff members, oversee day to day tasks, work closely with the business, be responsible to deliver process efficiency and accuracy as well as working on variance projects.

The EF Finance Office in Zurich handles finance for our schools and offices across Europe and Africa. Located in the heart of Zurich, one of the world's leading financial centers, the office is filled with energetic international staff who are passionate about sharing their expertise and delivering top quality financial information to our stakeholders. In order to stay close to the business, we visit our schools and offices in other countries. A position at the Zurich Finance Office opens up the opportunity for future challenges within EF with an amplitude of international possibilities.

The role: 

- Manage accounting operations

- Produce financial reports and statements on a regular basis

- Manage relations with external advisor and auditors

- Lead process improvements and other internal projects

- Manage a team of accountants by coaching and developing them

- Support with budget and business decisions

- Manage tax and regulatory aspects

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in Big 4

- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering

- In depth knowledge of accounting principles and control mechanisms

- Capable of training and coaching individuals

- You already have an international experience

- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, ready to embrace change

- Great communication and social skills

- Analytical ability and attention to details

- Excellent communication skills in English
