Certification Engineer
(m,w,d)

Start: January, February or March 2026

Duration: permanent position

Location: Geneva, Switzerland

Workload: 100%

Responsibilities:

  • Define certification basis for equipment/software and manage the certification program with authorities.
  • Act as the primary contact with EASA, representing the company in meetings, audits, and technical reviews.
  • Develop and maintain certification roadmaps, ensuring compliance with EU regulations and Skysoft-ATM DPO approval.
  • Prepare and submit certification documentation (plans, compliance matrices, SOI deliverables) according to EASA standards.
  • Organize and lead certification activities, audits, and risk assessments (e.g., FMEA), ensuring mitigation measures are documented.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely certification project completion and maintain compliance with ED109A/153/205A standards.
  • Monitor KPIs and improve processes, including training internal teams on certification topics and updating best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management and/or certification in a regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of ED109A, ED153, ED2025A, EU2023/1768, (EU)2023/1769, (EU)2023/203 or
  • alternatively DO178.
  • Knowledge of software development processes.
  • Negotiation abilities and stress resistance.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects
  • tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain information
  • clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences. Fluent written and spoken English is required, French is a plus.
  • Attention to details, auditing capabilities.
