Role Description

We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and business-savvy Business Analyst
to join our team in the
financial services sector
. In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that financial systems, products, and processes are aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, interpreting financial data, and supporting the development and implementation of technology and process improvements. This is a key role for professionals who understand both financial concepts and operational systems, and who can translate complex data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders (finance, operations, compliance, IT) to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies related to process improvement or technology implementation.
  • Support the design and implementation of new financial systems, reporting tools, or regulatory compliance solutions.
  • Develop functional specifications, workflows, wireframes, and use cases for proposed solutions.
  • Assist in performing data analysis and financial modeling to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with technical teams during the development, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and change management processes.
  • Monitor project progress and help ensure solutions meet business objectives and are delivered on time.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, translating complex insights into business-friendly formats.
  • Stay current on financial industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems
    , or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within banking, asset management, insurance, fintech, or related financial services.
  • Solid understanding of financial products, markets, and regulatory environments (e.g., Basel, MiFID, IFRS, AML, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analytics platforms.
  • Experience with business process modeling, workflow tools, or project management software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies is a plus.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CFA (Level 1) are advantageous but not required.
