Discovery Manager – CMDB
vacancy for our Switzerland based client in the Consulting & Business Services sector.

Your Tasks

  • Manage the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using top-down and horizontal discovery for reliable and complete EACMDB.
  • Monitor discovery status, logs, and troubleshoot errors while resolving discovery issues.
  • Create and optimise discovery patterns, probes, and sensors, and manage discovery classification.
  • Establish and manage the mid-server topology and discovery IP ranges.
  • Administer cloud resource discovery and configure discovery workspaces.

Your Experience/knowledge

  • Experience in managing CMDB and discovery processes.
  • Familiarity with SNMP classifications and system OIDs.
  • Proficient in creating and executing discovery schedules.
  • Language skills: English fluent ,German is a nice to have

Your Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
