Your mission:
Join us in transforming post-trade processing for the global OTC energy trading market.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, helping drive awareness, interest, and qualified opportunities for our Sales team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, curious, and ambitious individual looking to start or advance a career in B2B tech sales. You'll play a vital role in generating new opportunities, engage prospects, and collaborate with senior colleagues to help energy companies understand how Fidectus can simplify and modernize their operations.
What you'll do:
- Generate and qualify leads.
Identify, research, and engage target companies and key stakeholders across the DACH region through outbound outreach and inbound follow-up. - Conduct discovery.
Understand prospect challenges, goals, and pain points to assess fit and prepare them for deeper engagement with Sales Managers. - Collaborate cross-functionally.
Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align messaging, share feedback, and improve conversion rates. - Manage tools and data
. Use HubSpot and other sales tools to maintain accurate records, track engagement, and report on KPIs. - Drive outreach.
Execute structured outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and calls, with creativity, persistence, and a focus on value-driven conversations.
Learn continuously. Build your knowledge of SaaS, trading operations, and the energy market while developing strong sales fundamentals and communication skills.

Your profile - What you will need:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, ideally in B2B or SaaS.
- Fluent in English; German proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and organized, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communicator, able to craft clear, engaging messages and hold meaningful conversations.
- Curious about technology and energy markets, eager to learn how trading operations and post-trade processes work.
- Resilient and goal-driven, comfortable handling rejection and maintaining focus on outcomes.
- Problem solver with a positive, adaptable attitude in a fast-growing environment.
- Collaborative mindset, open to coaching and teamwork in a dynamic, growth-stage environment.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools is a plus.
