For one of our industrial clients in the sustainable food and energy sector, we are looking for a committed and experienced Head of Technical & Energy Operations to lead the maintenance and energy management activities at their production site in the Lyss area (BE).


Your main responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance, overhauls, and repair shutdowns in collaboration with workshops, external service providers, and suppliers
  • Manage investment projects from budgeting to implementation, in alignment with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive process optimization and technical troubleshooting within the production facilities
  • Ensure compliance, safety, and operational efficiency in all technical activities
  • Availability for on-call duty (approx. every 4 weeks)

Your profile
  • Degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; alternatively, a technical apprenticeship (EFZ) with further education in project management or similar
  • Solid knowledge of thermodynamic processes, electrical, and measurement & control systems
  • Proven experience in technical management or project leadership in an industrial environment
  • Good command of MS Office, MS Project is an advantage; sound business understanding
  • Empathic and reliable leader with high resilience and structured working style
  • German (C2) and English (C1) required; French (B2) is an advantage
