In parallel, we provide leading engineering services in FPGA system design, and in development of high-speed hardware, FPGA firmware and embedded software.
To strengthen our dynamic team in Zurich, we are looking for a new:
Electronics Technician
Responsibilities:
Library Management:
- Create and maintain Altium Designer library elements and ensure all related data is properly reflected in the ERP system
- Coordinate and track library tasks using GitLab
- Review and maintain component libraries, including periodic updates of footprints, symbols, and ERP entries
- Ensure harmonization, consistency, and compliance with IPC and other relevant industry standards in footprint and symbol design
- Contribute to and maintain library guidelines in alignment with company standards and best practices
Validation and Test Support:
- Support engineers in developing test and validation setups
- Build and assemble test setups and perform measurements on PCB assemblies for hardware validation ∙ Support environmental and functional testing activities
- Document test results, setups, and procedures
PCB Assembly Modification and Rework:
- Perform modifications and rework on PCB assemblies as required
Requirements:
- Completed vocational education as Elektroniker/in EFZ (or equivalent qualification)
- Further education at HF (Höhere Fachschule) or a degree in Electrical Engineering is an advantage
- Experience with Altium Designer is an advantage (training will be provided if needed)
- Experience in schematic, layout, and library element creation is a plus SHL Medical AG
- Solid knowledge in electronic circuit troubleshooting (oscilloscope, differential and current probes, power supplies, electronic loads)
- Experience with HDI and fine-pitch component soldering is an advantage
- Accurate, structured, and reliable working style with attention to detail
