Laboratory Technician

We're looking for a Laboratory Technician - Analytical Chemistry**​** Job Description Apply well-defined scientific/technical methods and work procedures to perform routine analyses and technical activities of limited scope and low complexity. Perform basic planned maintenance tasks in his/her area of activities using appropriate equipment. Based on acquired experience and technical education, responsible to highlight unusual findings observed. Responsible for applying basic practices, techniques, and action with guidance from more experienced professionals. Accountabilities: Accountabilities 1: Perform laboratory tests in order to generate accurate data of required quality level to support routine of repetitive nature, special projects, and/or proficiency test studies. Accountabilities 2: Ensure sufficient quantities of supplies for continuous laboratory operation. Accountabilities 3: Perform his/her duties in accordance to ISO 17025 and/or the respective PMI procedures. Accountabilities 4: Adhere to all EHS rules, policies and procedures Accountabilities 5: Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by stakeholders, and apply adequate processes to ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature. Skills and Competencies: Education:
• CFC in technical area, analytical chemistry or equivalent\* \* If the required certification is not present, the incumbent is having the proper knowledge and is able to fulfill the technical competencies for this position Work experience:
• Less than 4 years of experience in the required field through demonstrated experience/education.
• Experience in laboratory accredited environment (ISO is an asset. Others skills:
• French language is a must, English is an asset
