Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Geneva, Switzerland, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time or full-time. As a Business Developer at 4IP, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop relationships with prospective clients, and nurture existing partnerships.

Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing potential opportunities, preparing proposals and presentations, and collaborating with internal teams of assistants to support strategic growth initiatives. You will also represent 4IP at industry events, contribute to networking efforts, and help to build the company's reputation as a leader in impact investing:

  • SDG Impact Standards Accredited Trainer and future assurer (target 2026);
  • ESG toolkit (including IMM framework) for Asset Owners (Family Offices),
  • ESG toolkit for Institutional Investors (Pension Funds and Insurance Companies)
  • ESG toolkit for Asset Managers (Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds)
  • ESG toolkit for Enterprises (Large-Scale, Medium-Scale and Small-Scale)
  • Impact Investing Masterclass (MOOC of 12 lectures)
  • 4IP Group offerings:

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Business Development, Client Relationship Management, and Strategic Planning
  • Proficiency in Market Research, Sales Strategy Development, and Negotiation
  • Excellent Communication Skills, including Proposal Writing and Presentation Delivery
  • Ability to leverage Analytical and Financial Modeling Skills to assess business opportunities
  • Experience in Impact Investing, Infrastructure Financing, or related fields is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Ability to work in a hybrid office setup based in Geneva, and willingness to travel occasionally
