Das neue Team hat drei Standorte. Die Formel-1-Fabrik der Sauber Group in Hinwil (Schweiz) ist bekannt für ihre innovativen Technologien und ihre Leidenschaft für den Rennsport. Audis Motorsport-Kompetenzzentrum in Neuburg (Deutschland) gilt als eines der modernsten seiner Art in Europa. Wir haben kürzlich das Sauber Motorsport Technology Center im Vereinigten Königreich eröffnet. Unsere Power Unit kommt aus Neuburg, während Hinwil für die Entwicklung des Chassis und den Rennbetrieb mit Unterstützung aus den Vereinigten Königreich verantwortlich ist.

Diese Position für das Audi F1 Projekt ist bei Sauber in Hinwil (Schweiz). Deine Aufgabe
  • Agiere als tägliche Schnittstelle zwischen production und design office und sorge für eine reibungslose Kommunikation und Arbeitsabläufe
  • Unterstütze sowohl das design- als auch das production-Team bei der Entwicklung und Optimierung von Komponenten
  • Leiste technischen Support für alle beteiligten Abteilungen während des manufacturing process der Teile
  • Führe material testing durch und erstelle detaillierte technical reports
  • Triff fundierte Entscheidungen in Bezug auf quality-related issues und behalte den Überblick über die laufende quality performance
  • Überwache und stelle die quality standards sicher, sobald Komponenten in die manufacturing-Phase übergehen
  • Trage zu project work bei und nimm aktiv an problem-solving sessions teil
  • Treibe kontinuierlich process improvements voran, um Effizienz und Zuverlässigkeit zu steigern
Dein Profil
  • Ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Engineering (oder eine gleichwertige technische Qualifikation)
  • Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich high-performance und autoclave-cured composites
  • Nachgewiesene Erfahrung und Erfolge in allen Bereichen der CNC manufacturing processes
  • Fundiertes Verständnis verschiedener metallic part manufacturing methods
  • Idealerweise vertraut mit CAD software (CATIA) sowie Standard-Office-Tools wie Windows, Excel und Outlook
  • Eine kreative und analytische Herangehensweise an technisches problem-solving
  • Self-motivated, organisiert und ein effektiver Kommunikator mit ausgezeichnetem technischem Verständnis
  • Open-minded und flexibel, mit der Fähigkeit, unabhängig zu arbeiten und Verantwortung für Ergebnisse zu übernehmen
  • Fliessend in Englisch oder Deutsch, in Wort und Schrift
  • Ehrlich, zuverlässig und qualitätsorientiert in deiner täglichen Arbeit

The new team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland). Your mission
  • Act as the daily interface between production and the design office, ensuring smooth communication and workflow
  • Support both design and production teams in the development and optimization of components
  • Provide technical support to all involved departments during the manufacturing process of parts
  • Conduct material testing and prepare detailed technical reports
  • Make informed decisions regarding quality-related issues and maintain an overview of ongoing quality performance
  • Monitor and ensure quality standards once components move into manufacturing
  • Contribute to project work and actively participate in problem-solving sessions
  • Continuously drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
Your profile
  • A degree in Engineering (or an equivalent technical qualification)
  • At least 5 years of experience in high-performance and autoclave-cured composites
  • Proven experience and strong accomplishments in CNC manufacturing processes
  • Solid understanding of metallic part manufacturing methods
  • Preferably familiar with CAD software (CATIA) and standard office tools such as Windows, Excel, and Outlook
  • A creative and analytical approach to technical problem-solving
  • Self-motivated, organized, and an effective communicator with excellent technical insight
  • Open-minded and flexible, with the ability to work independently and take responsibility for results
  • Honest, reliable, and quality-driven in your daily work
  • Proficiency in English language skills. German language skills will be an advantage
