Clinical Trial Associate/ Senior CTA

Location:
Basel, Switzerland (3-4 days onsite)

Contract Type:
12-Month Contract (with potential for extension)

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity for a Basel based CTA/senior CTA offers the chance to work closely with a leading clinical research team, supporting the efficient execution of clinical trials. The role will involve performing CTA duties with the added opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, enabling you to grow and develop your skills in the clinical trials field.

As a CTA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of trials, working alongside other clinical operations professionals, and gaining exposure to different aspects of clinical trial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day management and coordination of clinical trials
  • Assist with regulatory document preparation and submission
  • Track and manage trial supplies and materials
  • Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with trial protocols
  • Maintain and update study documentation (e.g., monitoring logs, trackers, and reports)
  • Work with clinical vendors and sites to ensure timelines and deliverables are met
  • Participate in study meetings and contribute to problem-solving
  • Take on additional responsibilities to expand your knowledge and skills within the team

Experience & Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in clinical trials (CTA role or similar)
  • Experience in working with CROs oversight is a plus
  • Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial documentation
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
