The Team

At BLP, we create cutting-edge products for automated document processing. We are now building a dedicated team to automate internal processes as well, providing a unique opportunity to design tools from scratch using state-of-the-art technologies and modern engineering practices.

Engineers on this team will take end-to-end ownership of internal automation tools and workflows, building solutions that amplify impact across the company. What You'll Do

• Build Great Software: Design and develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions. Conduct code reviews and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

• Shape Architecture: Collaborate on system design, technology stack decisions, and optimizations for scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Lead and Influence: Guide technical direction for major initiatives, translating requirements into actionable deliverables, and mentoring team members along the way.

• Drive Impact: Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions that significantly improve efficiency and reliability within the company. Own your projects end-to-end, from concept to deployment.

• Promote Innovation and Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to continuously improve processes, tools, and team practices while fostering a culture of learning and experimentation.

• The Tech Stack includes Kotlin, Spring Boot, jOOQ, PostgreSQL / MySQL, OpenAPI, React / Typescript, gradle, Golang, Docker images deployed on a Kubernetes cluster, GitHub CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience with modern programming languages, preferably Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go.

• Passionate about software craftsmanship: Strong understanding of software development principles, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture.

• Ability to transform vague ideas into precise requirements, specifications, and executable code.

• Team-oriented: proactively support goals, close gaps, and foster smooth collaboration.

• Strong learning ability and dedication to continuous improvement.

• Comfortable with tools like Git, Gradle, GitHub, and Docker, and adaptable to quickly learn and apply new technologies, whether emerging frameworks, APIs, or innovations like LLMs.

• Exceptional abstraction skills: simplify complex systems, identify core concepts, create generalized models, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
