We are looking for a Data Scientist with deep expertise at the intersection of CRM and data in swiss retail banking. You will strengthen our new initiative to transform how we engage with customers through constant customer focus and innovaction. neon is a Zurich-based FinTech that has brought a lot of movement to the Swiss banking market in recent years through constant innovation. We have 240,000 customers who trust us because our distinctive philosophy and innovative offerings set us apart from outdated traditions. You will join a capable and innovation-driven data team of three that is well-integrated in all company processes.

Tasks

Your focus areas:

  • Activation & Growth: Be a key driver of strategic initiatives that boost customer activation, engagement, and retention.
  • Customer Insights: Build segmentation and behavioral models to understand customer needs, predict future actions, and guide personalization strategies.
  • Crossfunctional enablement: Collaborate with marketing teams for offer personalization at scale, defining customer journeys and campaigns.
Requirements

5+ years of professional experience on the intersection of CRM and data in retail banking in Switzerland:

  • Deep understanding of retail banking customer behaviour, lifecycle and segments.
  • Track record of conversion & response optimization. Designing, testing and implementing actions that improve conversion rate.
  • Feature engineering on high-dimensional, time-series transactional datasets.
  • Customer value & retention modeling with Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), next-best-offer and churn propensity.
  • Applying machine learning techniques for commercial impact (Python and SQL).
