About the Lab:
Huawei Europe Standardization and Industry Development Department is responsible for understanding the development trends of the macro environments, industry eco-systems and the demand of associated technologies; identifying uncertainties, risks and major industry opportunities which could affect the company's medium to long-term development and growth. Based in Europe but influencing globally, and supporting the company's strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist the supervisor in the insight of international relationship, events and the related influence to the standardization & industry development strategies, policies, etc. All insight conclusion should include related recommendation or advice on how Huawei should reflect.

The job includes but not limited to:

  • Provide in-depth insights into the organizational structures, customer mapping, and governance models of major international standardization bodies.
  • Analyze recent global events that may significantly influence industrial development and standardization trends.
  • Examine the priority projects of leading international standardization organizations and analyze participation and engagement by relevant stakeholders.
  • Assess the public involvement and contributions of globally renowned companies within international standardization organizations.
  • Presenting insights report to Huawei team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Relationship or related subjects
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in English, Chinese, French is a plus; Love networking, willing to engage new people and building relationships
  • Can think outside of the box, strong interest in exploring areas outside politics or international relationships themselves, but related to business, commercial, strategy, technologies and beyond
  • Working time: 3-6 months
  • Work place : Lausanne
